About the team We build and operate Stripe's Event Infrastructure—the reliable, low-latency backbone that captures, routes, and persists billions of events daily. We design resilient, scalable systems for real-time ingestion, filtering, transformation, and high-throughput delivery to downstream consumers. We prioritize observability, backpressure control, and graceful degradation to keep payments and platform features running under any load. By automating operations and iterating on capacity and cost optimizations, we enable product teams to build on a predictable event-streaming foundation.
