What is an AI mock interview?
An AI mock interview is a practice session with questions and feedback generated by AI. ResumeWorlds uses your resume and selected focus to support behavioral, technical, coding, or mixed practice.
Do mock interview sessions require an account and paid plan?
Yes. Sign in with a ResumeWorlds account and an active Pro plan to use AI mock interview sessions. Existing Business and Enterprise subscriptions also qualify for Pro access. Public interview preparation guides and question previews do not require sign-in.
Can I type instead of using my microphone?
Yes. Typed answers are supported. Voice input depends on microphone permission and available browser or speech-service support. You can continue with text if voice input is unavailable.
Is this a video interview?
No. The current experience supports voice, typed answers, and a browser code editor for relevant coding questions. It does not provide a real video interviewer or evaluate your camera presence.
Does the coding editor execute my solution?
The current coding flow uses a browser editor and AI analysis of the submitted solution. Do not treat that analysis as a passed test suite or verified runtime result. Test code separately when you need execution-based validation.
How long are practice sessions?
The setup offers 15, 30, 45, and 60 minute durations. Choose a length that gives you time to answer thoughtfully and review the resulting report.
How should I use the score and feedback?
Use the report to identify answers that need clearer evidence, structure, or technical explanation. It is practice feedback, not an employer assessment or a guarantee of interview performance. Access is subject to the current plan check in the session.
