Knitwear Design Intern at Reliance Retail

Reliance Retail · Gurugram, Haryana

About this role

Reliance Retail is hiring a Knitwear Design Intern in Gurugram. Reliance Retail is India’s largest retailer, operating Trends, Ajio and Reliance Brands, and this internship puts you inside a working fashion and apparel team — not on the sidelines of one. India's fashion and lifestyle economy is one of the country's largest employers, and the people who do well in it learn the craft on live product rather than in a classroom. As a Knitwear Design Intern at Reliance Retail Gurugram, you will be given a scoped, real piece of work with a named mentor, a review cadence, and a deliverable that ships. What you will do: • Own a defined slice of day-to-day design work on live Reliance Retail ranges and projects in Gurugram. • Apply Knitwear Design, Knit Structures, Yarn Knowledge, Adobe Illustrator to real briefs, with feedback from people who do this professionally. • Build and maintain the trackers, specs and documentation the team runs on, and keep them accurate. • Work across functions — design, merchandising, sourcing, quality, marketing and retail all sit close together here. • Research the market, competitors and customers, and present what you find in a way the team can act on. • Follow the quality, compliance and brand standards Reliance Retail holds its products to. Who should apply: • Students and recent graduates from fashion, design, textile, gemology, engineering, commerce, management or communication backgrounds — degree stream matters less than genuine interest. • Work
